El Festival Internacional de Marbella welcomes you!

An Official IMDb qualifying competition very soon.

The competition is a new form of a virtual online festival that could create further opportunities for independent and professional film projects to be noticed, awarded, screened, and recognized in the film industry around the world.

Our goal is to encourage independent and professional filmmakers of all nationalities to share their passion worldwide through our Festival.

The quality standard of this competition is very high and only awards the best films, so winners of this competition can be very proud of their achievement.

Rules & Terms

A- The festival is a monthly competition and accepts short film, feature films and music videos. Duration: less than 30 minutes (short films), more than 31 min (half-length film) more than 60 minutes (feature films)

B- Films must have been completed after 1 January 2018. There is no premiere requirement.

C- All films must be presented with English or Spanish subtitle (Unless the original language is English or Spanish, in that case, the subtitles are not necessary).

D- Additional categories (Director, Cinematography, etc.) will be evaluated separately, so they will be considered as separate categories, any movie has the possibility of winning them.

E- Please only send links to your media hosted on 3rd party servers such as Vimeo or YouTube.

F- In order to be fully and properly considered, films must be available to view through FilmFreeways’s online screening interface.

G - The selection committees and juries decision are final. In order to participate, the entrants must bear a nonrefundable entry fee.

H- The Festival Management reserves the right to make changes in the profile of the festival if it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances beyond his/her control. By submitting a film or any media through FilmFreeway, the Filmmaker agrees to grant the Festival the right to use the title, synopsis, and trailer of the Film for advertisement purposes, including using those materials on the Festival's website.

I- In general, only the winning and finalist projects are screened online but all the selected projects have the possibility of being included for free in the programming.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless us, our officers, affiliates, employees, and partners from any and all claims and liability arising out of entering or transmitting your film on the Festival International de Marbella.
